Despite our appeals, drivers who get behind the wheel while intoxicated, under the influence of narcotic substances, after having their driving privileges revoked, or while subject to a court-ordered driving ban are still frequently encountered.
Chojnów police officers removed another irresponsible driver from the road. The incident took place on September 4 at approximately 11:30 a.m. in Grzymalin. Officers stopped a moped rider for a traffic check. It turned out that the 47-year-old moped rider, a resident of Legnica, was subject to a lifetime ban on driving all motor vehicles.
He now faces up to five years in prison for failing to comply with the court order.
