Police learned of the brutal act on August 28 from the perpetrator’s nephew. The young man informed the duty officer at the Lubin police station that his uncle had killed his cat by repeatedly striking the animal against the floor.

When officers from the Prevention Department arrived at the scene, they found the dead animal in bushes near the property.

Police detained the 46-year-old. Investigators charged the suspect with killing a cat with particular cruelty. During questioning, the man admitted his guilt. By court decision, he was remanded in custody for two months.

The degenerate now faces up to five years in prison.
