Officers from the Kruszyn Police Station, as a result of operational activities, identified the perpetrator of a theft that took place at a petrol station in Bolesławiec gmina. The man stole a handbag containing a mobile phone. After gathering information about the incident, the officers identified a person who may have committed the crime.
The police officers’ suspicions proved correct. The detainee is a 20-year-old resident of Bolesławiec gmina. During a search of the residential premises occupied by the perpetrator, the officers recovered the phone lost as a result of the theft.
The 20-year-old was charged and admitted to the offence. Theft is punishable by up to five years in prison.
