Last week, in Bolesławiec County, police officers supported by officers from neighboring counties conducted increased inspections on the main traffic routes. As a result of 91 inspections, police officers uncovered 75 traffic offenses, mainly exceeding the speed limit.
During the operation, police officers also detained a 28-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County who was driving a car after using intoxicating substances. The woman faces up to 2 years in prison and losing her driving licence.
During one of the inspections, police officers established that a man driving a car did not have the required authorization but presented a driving licence. It turned out that the 41-year-old resident of Bolesławiec was using a forged document bearing his first name and surname. The driver was detained and faces up to 5 years in prison.
