The main event of the celebrations of the most important holiday for soldiers was a ceremonial ceremony. At the invitation of the regiment commander, acting major Jerzy Juchaniuk, representatives of uniformed services and institutions cooperating with the regiment took part in the celebrations.
Major Jerzy Juchaniuk emphasized the importance and significance of the Battle of Warsaw for preserving the sovereignty of the Homeland and protecting Western Europe from the Bolshevik revolution:
On 15 August 19820, a battle took place on the outskirts of Warsaw in which the Polish Army defeated the Bolshevik forces and saved the recently regained independence. The Polish Army, commanded by Marshal Józef Piłsudski, achieved a great victory over the Red Army. Our patron, General Tadeusz Jordan Rozwadowski, co-author of the Battle of Warsaw, undoubtedly made a major contribution to the victory over the Bolsheviks.
Today, once again, we remember that time with great respect and reflection. By paying tribute to our soldier predecessors, we express our remembrance of their momentous deeds and the moral values they fostered, which, despite the passage of time, remain unchanged for every Pole.
The ceremony also commemorated the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First Silesian Uprising. It initiated the insurgent movement in Silesia, which ultimately led to the incorporation of Upper Silesia into Poland in 1921.
The ceremonial assembly provided an opportunity to present promotion certificates to those advanced to the next military ranks. The ceremonial assembly concluded with a parade of subunits.
