On Saturday, 27 July, a Family Festival was held in Tomisław (Osiecznica municipality) to mark the opening of the Social Activity Centre.
The ceremony was attended by, among others, Deputy District Governor Mirosław Horzempa, Chair of the Osiecznica Municipal Council Jadwiga Rybicka, and councillors of Osiecznica municipality; Osiecznica Municipal Mayor Waldemar Nalazek; parish priest of Tomisław Parish, Rev. Marcin Szymaniak; Bolesławiec District Council member Jan Kozak; village heads and village councils; as well as the contractor of the Social Activity Centre, Jan Lassak.
The Social Activity Centre consists of a community centre, a library and changing rooms for athletes. Municipal officials emphasise:
It is primarily intended to serve the two villages of Tomisław and Osieczów, but it is also a representative facility of our municipality.
