On the roads of Bolesławiec County, as throughout the voivodeship, police conducted the Smog Action, aimed at removing technically defective vehicles from traffic, particularly those characterised by excessive emissions of exhaust fumes into the atmosphere.
KPP Bolesławiec:
Officers checked whether the inspected vehicles were emitting excessively toxic exhaust fumes. They also responded to traffic offences related to the vehicles’ technical condition.
During the operation, Bolesławiec police officers inspected 52 vehicles and seized 18 registration certificates due to poor technical condition.
Across Lower Silesia, officers inspected as many as 1,514 vehicles and seized 126 registration certificates.
