Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters detained a man suspected of committing several crimes. The 35-year-old resident of Bolesławiec is well known to police. (He has already been convicted of other offenses.)
At the time of his arrest, the man had a significant quantity of so-called piko, or methamphetamine, in his possession (more than 400 saleable doses).
Moreover, during a search of the premises occupied by the 35-year-old, police seized a gas weapon for which the suspect did not have a permit.
Furthermore, officers proved that the detainee had committed three other offenses: burglary of a motorcycle, the theft of an inflatable slide, and criminal threats.
On the basis of the evidence gathered, the court—at the request of the Bolesławiec District Prosecutor’s Office—remanded the repeat offender in custody for three months. The 35-year-old could now face up to 15 years in prison.
