The chase began at 3:50 p.m. The car fled along the bypass toward Kruszyn, then at Solidarności Roundabout turned onto Tysiąclecia Avenue. The woman driving the BMW then fled along Asnyka Street and turned toward Łukasiewicza Street. She then drove through the city and from Zgorzelecka Street re-entered the bypass. She later fled along Cieszkowskiego Street, then Polna Street, until she drove into a parking lot between buildings, near Bolesławiec City Center shopping gallery.

There, the woman and the man accompanying her were detained.

The car they were fleeing in had Silesian registration plates (Lubliniec County).

Update: 6:05 p.m.

The car was driven by a 22-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. Police knew that she had a court-ordered ban on driving until 2020, so they wanted to stop the car for inspection. The woman did not stop and began fleeing through the city streets. After being detained, she was tested for the presence of intoxicating substances in her system. The test confirmed that she was under their influence.

The 27-year-old passenger had methamphetamine on him. He will be charged with possession and released. The woman was detained.
