As written by the bomb disposal experts from No. 23 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Patrol of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment from Bolesławiec, on June 12, the second day of the operation, the soldiers managed to detect as many as 50 explosive and dangerous objects, including a Mauser rifle receiver, a Panzerfaust (a German anti-tank grenade launcher), and two artillery shells.

Let us recall. On Tuesday, June 11, a bomb disposal operation began at the site of a former German brickworks between Płóczki Górne and Mojesz (Lwówek County). It involves soldiers from No. 23 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Patrol of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec, as well as mine-clearance divers from Świnoujście.

Bolesławiec bomb disposal experts recently recovered three unexploded ordnance items from the shore of the flooded excavation at the former brickworks. It then turned out that dangerous objects were also located underwater.

The operation will continue until the bomb disposal experts determine that there is no longer any danger.
