On 27 May, after 5 p.m., in the Gromadka commune, officers from the Traffic Division of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters stopped a vehicle for inspection because its driver was not wearing a seat belt.
The police officers immediately detected a strong smell of alcohol coming from the driver. It turned out that the 48-year-old resident of the Gromadka commune had nearly 3‰ of alcohol in his breath.
The driver lost his driving licence. What is more, he may now face up to two years behind bars.
