The idea behind the literary competition—addressed to pupils in grades 1–3 of primary schools and organized by the Komenda Główna Policji—is, among other things, to encourage as many pedestrians as possible to use reflective elements, not only after dark outside built-up areas, but also in built-up areas on unlit or poorly lit sections of roads.
What do you need to know if you want to take part in the competition?
- The competition runs until 12 July 2019.
- It involves writing a four-line rhyme encouraging people to use reflective elements.
- Entries (rhymes) should be sent to the Komenda Wojewódzka Policji we Wrocławiu with the note: “Rhyme Competition”.
- Any school may enter the competition if it submits works created by pupils in grades 1–3 of primary schools.
- The competition will be decided by 30 August 2019, and the award ceremony for the winners will take place on 1 October 2019.
