Officers from the Police Station in Chojnów went on Sunday evening to a village in Chojnów Municipality, where a man had been beaten and robbed.
According to the 42-year-old victim, while he was returning from a shop, he was attacked without any reason by two people wearing balaclavas. (The victim recognized the perpetrators by their clothing, as he had seen them at the shop shortly beforehand. Moreover, he knew them personally.)
The attackers knocked the man to the ground and beat him, then took his phone and headphones.
Police officers from Chojnów detained the attackers. The 20- and 22-year-olds have already been charged with robbery and placed under police supervision. They have also been prohibited from approaching or contacting the victim.
The young men could face up to 12 years in prison.
