A female reader wrote to us:

[….] while out for a walk, I discovered something horrific [w okolicach ulicy Widok w Bolesławcu – przyp. istotne.pl]. Amid the awakening nature and birdsong, I saw this sight created by human hands. MZGK will have plenty to do, but shouldn’t we be ashamed of such behaviour?

She added:

Of course, everyone will say it wasn’t them. However, someone did this. By the way: has anyone perhaps had a car go missing—the one that lies there dismantled?

We have written repeatedly in these pages about the mess that litterbugs leave in various places throughout our county. Often, when the matter concerned Miasto Ceramiki, we asked for comment—either from the municipal police or from the Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Mieszkaniowej. We understand that this problem cannot be eliminated completely. We know that the services cannot keep watch in one place around the clock.

So perhaps it is worth appealing ONCE AGAIN—possibly somewhat naively—to fans of spending time outdoors (and drinking) to take their rubbish with them. All the more so now, with spring in full swing, when county residents will certainly be going for walks more often. And quite frequently with small children.
