Nowogrodziec police received a report about the theft of a bicycle left by the victim on the school parking lot. The crime took place during the day in Osiecznica municipality.
Based on the information collected and surveillance footage, officers identified the suspect. He turned out to be a 19-year-old resident of Osiecznica municipality.
During their investigation, officers determined where the stolen bicycle was located. (It was in the forest, on one of the stacks of wood).
The teenager explained to the police that he had stolen the bicycle because he did not feel like walking home.
The young man could now face up to five years in prison.
