Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn identified the perpetrator of a fuel theft from a petrol station as a result of operational activities. Based on the information gathered, the officers established that a 36-year-old resident of Lubań County got behind the wheel despite being subject to a court-ordered driving ban.
What is more, the man came to Bolesławiec County, where he stole license plates. He attached them to his car, then filled the vehicle with fuel twice and drove away without paying.
The suspect was arrested. He was charged with a total of six offenses. He now faces up to five years in prison.
