On 19 April, at the request of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Zgorzelec, the local court temporarily remanded in custody for three months the perpetrator of a murder committed on 16 April in Bogatynia (Zgorzelec County).
Investigators:
The crime took place at night in one of the gaming arcades. The male victim was stabbed. Immediate actions led to the perpetrator’s arrest. He was subsequently brought to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Zgorzelec, where he was charged with murder.
Due to the interests of the investigation, the prosecutor’s office is not providing details of the tragedy. The suspect could face life imprisonment.
