Bolesławiec traffic police stopped a vehicle for inspection on national road No. 94. In an area where the speed limit is 90 km/h, it was traveling at over 130 km/h.
It turned out that the driver, a 30-year-old resident of Osiecznica municipality, was not only speeding recklessly but had also gotten behind the wheel while drunk. The test showed more than one per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air.
The 30-year-old from our county now faces up to two years behind bars.
