Officers from the Prevention Department of the Bolesławiec police detained a man suspected of an offense against property.
According to the victim, an unknown man knocked on his door. The stranger wanted money for alcohol. When he did not receive any, he punched a car parked in the yard. In this way, he damaged the mirror. The losses were estimated at PLN 550.
Officers determined that the perpetrator identified by the victim was a 38-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County. At the time of the offense, the suspect had... more than 3 per mille of alcohol in his breath.
The detained man confessed to the crime. He now faces up to five years in prison.
