On April 1, after 7:00 a.m., a tragic accident occurred on the road between Zgorzelec and Zawidów (DW 355).
According to the officers’ preliminary findings, the driver of an Audi, a 33-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County, was probably driving too fast, lost control of the vehicle, left the road and hit a tree.
An ambulance took the man to hospital. The injured man died there.
The police and the prosecutor’s office are investigating the case.
The officers appeal for good judgment and imagination, adjusting speed to road conditions, and observing traffic regulations and safe-driving rules.
