The fate of the strike is being decided in Warsaw, and it will not be known until Monday, April 8, whether it will take place. The following schools are ready for a possible strike: Zespół Szkół Budowlanych, Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych, I and II Liceum Ogólnokształcące, Powiatowy Zespół Szkół i Placówek Specjalnych, and Zespół Szkół Ogólnokształcących i Zawodowych.

Bolesławiec is strongly oriented toward striking. Let us add that municipal schools and preschools are also in favor of the strike, as teachers indicated in referendums.

As we wrote in the article “Municipal Schools and Preschools Ready to Strike!” Deputy Mayor Kornel Filipowicz assures that children who need care at primary schools during the strike will receive it. The situation will certainly be under control. Primary schools will be open on April 8 and on subsequent days of a possible strike. There will be no lessons, but other substitute activities will be organized. We do not know how the county schools will be organized, but the directors of the county institutions will certainly act in a similar way. The city and the county have set up a “strike task force” to make technical preparations for a possible strike in advance.
