During the operation, officers are checking, among other things, whether drivers comply with speed limits and travel on the roads in accordance with traffic regulations.
Police patrols will appear today on many roads in Lower Silesia. During the operation, officers will use measuring equipment, including video recorders, radar speed meters and devices for measuring blood alcohol content. Checks will be carried out in cascades using marked and unmarked vehicles.
KWP Wrocław:

In addition to checking speed, police officers will also pay attention to:
- the sobriety of drivers
- the use of seat belts and devices for safely transporting children
- the technical condition of vehicles
- drivers’ compliance with other traffic regulations.
(The last operation of this type involved nearly 1,400 vehicles being checked and almost 500 cases of exceeding the permitted speed limit being detected).
