Police officers from the Bolesławiec traffic division, while patrolling the city, noticed a vehicle entering an area covered by a no-entry restriction.
A 59-year-old resident of Bolesławiec was behind the wheel. The officers detected a strong smell of alcohol coming from him.
It turned out that the man had got behind the wheel with more than 2‰ of alcohol in his breath.
The 59-year-old was arrested. He could now face up to two years in prison.
