The KGP Social Communications Bureau and the Police History and Tradition Bureau, marking the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the State Police, have organized the Nationwide Festival of Theatrical, Literary, Film and Painting Forms “100 Years of the Police.” Its aim is to disseminate and promote knowledge about the tasks, mission and ethos of this uniformed service.

The winners of the final competition will be invited to the central celebrations of Police Day, which will be held in Warsaw. The prizes will be presented to them there.

The organizers have provided for four categories:

  • stage
  • literary
  • audiovisual
  • visual arts.

The competition is aimed at police officers, police employees and their families, students of uniformed classes, members of associations and interest groups connected with the police, and others.

Komenda Wojewódzka Policji we Wrocławiu is responsible for conducting the competition’s regional qualifiers. Competition entries—in the stage category, this means a script—should be sent to the Presidential Department by March 29, 2019. Details are available on the Wrocław KWP website.
