The incident occurred on Sunday, March 3, at approximately 1:00 p.m. on the A4, at kilometer 44 heading toward Wrocław (near the exit to Bolesławiec).
The driver of the Volkswagen, a 76-year-old resident of the Silesian Voivodeship, failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions, lost control of the vehicle and first hit the barrier on the right, then the one on the left, and finally a correctly traveling Peugeot driven by a woman.
Both drivers were sober. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.
