The incident took place during the night of February 24–25 on Jaśkiewicza Street in Lwówek Śląski. At around 3:00 a.m., a passenger-car driver hit the barriers and drove away.

As we read on lwowecki.info:

A police patrol set off in pursuit of the road pirate and, as asp. szt. Mateusz Królak told us, caught up with the man in the village of Pławna.

It turned out that the 49-year-old clergyman was completely drunk; he had a blood alcohol level of two per mille.

The police confiscated the man's driving licence and are referring the case to court, as reported by the Lwówek portal.

The priest could face up to two years in prison. Details at lwowecki.info.
