Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn identified and arrested the perpetrator of five burglaries. He is a 25-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. The perpetrator broke into farm buildings in one of the villages in Bolesławiec Municipality.
The 25-year-old dismantled, among other things, an agricultural tractor and stole its batteries and cables, as well as draining fuel from the tank.
The burglar also stole tools, a saw, diesel fuel in containers, and part of a transformer removed from a welding machine. The total losses caused by the 25-year-old’s activities amounted to more than PLN 6,000.
The suspect admitted to the charges against him and provided explanations.
The man had previously been convicted of property crimes. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
