The incident occurred on May 2 at around 10:30 p.m. On Kościuszki Street, a Volkswagen driver hit a 70-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. The injured man was taken to the Bolesławiec hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.

The car driver was sober. According to preliminary findings, the 70-year-old was walking in the middle of the road. The police are investigating the causes of the tragedy.
