A driver of a passenger car approached officers from the Traffic Division of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters who were stationed near the exit to the A4 motorway. The man asked the police officers for help. His wife was in the car; she had suffered bleeding from her eye and urgently needed medical attention.
The police officers immediately decided to help and, using their lights and sirens, escorted the vehicle carrying the woman to a hospital in Legnica. The officers then entered the hospital with the couple and led them directly to the ophthalmology department, where they handed the woman over to the care of the medical staff.
