Police officers from Karpacz identified and then detained a 33-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra County suspected of theft, burglary and drug possession.

According to investigators, over the past two years the man committed at least five offences against property in Karpacz and the surrounding area. These involved burglaries and thefts. (His record includes the theft of a scooter, a surveillance camera and two quad bikes, as well as an attempted break-in at a single-family home and a break-in at a sports club’s changing room.)

On the suspect’s property, in a garden gazebo, officers secured a large quantity of marijuana—more than 3,000 saleable doses—as well as two quad bikes that had been stolen.

The man was taken into police custody. He could face up to 10 years in prison.
