The main aim of these activities is to improve safety and reduce the number of road incidents involving pedestrians. The campaign also aims to make vulnerable road users aware of the dangers that may arise from failing to comply with the regulations in force on the road.
Officers will pay particular attention to irregularities related to drivers’ behavior toward pedestrians, pedestrians’ use of road sections without separate sidewalks, pedestrians crossing in prohibited and dangerous places, and compliance with traffic lights, as well as cyclists’ proper lighting and appropriate ways of crossing the roadway.

We also appeal to vulnerable road users to use reflective elements and, when cycling, to wear protective helmets and guards.

The use of reflective elements by pedestrians, cyclists and moped riders increases their safety.
