On January 31, municipal police officers, while patrolling Lubańska Street, noticed smoke rising from a fire. It turned out that the smoke was caused by plastic construction waste and green waste burning in the fire. The offender was fined and ordered to extinguish the fire immediately.
A moment later, while patrolling Słoneczna Street, the officers noticed thick, acrid black smoke coming from a chimney. An inspection was carried out, which established that a Bolesławiec resident had been putting panels, window frames and furniture waste into the furnace.
The offender was also fined. What is more, he was ordered to refrain from such behavior in the future, and a date was set for a follow-up inspection at the premises.
