The incident occurred on April 24. During the night, police officers received a report of a pedestrian being hit. The injured person turned out to be a 27-year-old man. The perpetrator drove away without providing the man with assistance.
Within an hour, officers from Bolesławiec detained the 27-year-old perpetrator of the accident. The man was drunk and had almost one per mille of alcohol in his system. He faces up to 4.5 years in prison.
