Who can serve in the Police?

  • a Polish citizen of impeccable reputation
  • who has not been convicted by a final court judgment of an offence or a fiscal offence
  • enjoying full public rights
  • with at least secondary education
  • physically and mentally capable of serving in armed formations subject to special service discipline, to which they are willing to submit
  • providing an assurance of maintaining confidentiality in accordance with the requirements set out in regulations on the protection of classified information
  • in addition, persons subject to military qualification should have a regulated status regarding military service.

KPP Bolesławiec:

People interested in taking up service in the Police should submit their documents in person to the Human Resources and Training Team of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec, at 20 Zygmunta Augusta Street, on weekdays from Monday to Friday, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.; tel. 75 649 62 58.

Let us recall. Recently, we reported in our pages that, with the arrival of the new year, the Lower Silesian garrison welcomed new officers into its ranks. On 11 January 2019, 82 police officers, including 15 women, recited the oath of office. (Four of them will serve at the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.)
