Officers from the Traffic Division of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters stopped a passenger car with a faulty dipped-beam headlight for inspection.
It turned out that the car's driver was drunk; he had more than 1 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath. Moreover, police established that the man did not have a driving licence, and that the vehicle he was travelling in did not have a valid technical inspection.
The 44-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec municipality could now face up to two years behind bars.
