The incident occurred on January 5, at approximately 9:30 a.m., on the Delta chairlift leading to Devil’s Mountain (Čertova hora) in Harrachov, Czech Republic. An unidentified man, probably a foreign national, was riding the four-person chairlift with the girl and her grandmother.

This man in particular could greatly assist the officers investigating the case.

The officers are asking all witnesses who saw how the incident occurred to get in touch. There were many skiers on the slope that day, and not only from the Czech Republic.
