Who can serve in the Police?

  • a Polish citizen with an unblemished reputation
  • who has not been convicted by a final court judgment of a criminal offence or a fiscal offence
  • enjoying full public rights
  • having at least secondary education
  • having the physical and mental capacity to serve in armed formations subject to particular official discipline, to which they are prepared to submit
  • providing a guarantee of maintaining confidentiality in accordance with the requirements set out in regulations on the protection of classified information
  • in addition, persons subject to military qualification should have their military service status regulated.
