The incident took place on Christmas Eve, at around 6:00 a.m., in Łaziska (Bolesławiec municipality).
A 19-year-old from Bolesławiec municipality, driving a Mercedes, failed to give way to the driver of an Opel, a 67-year-old resident of Złotoryja County, who was travelling from the direction of Warta Bolesławiecka.
A collision occurred, as a result of which three people were injured: both drivers and a 41-year-old Opel passenger, also from Złotoryja County.
All three were taken to hospital. The driver responsible for the accident had consumed alcohol.
