The incident occurred on November 20. At around 1:00 p.m., the duty officer at the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra was informed that a man needing help was on one of the streets in Jelenia Góra.
It turned out at the scene that the injured man had a cut wound on his arm. The police officers provided him with first aid and called an ambulance.
A short while later, a 46-year-old man was arrested. It turned out that he had attacked his acquaintance with a knife.
The entire story took place during a party attended by three people: two men and a woman. All three drank alcohol and took drugs together. At one point, a quarrel broke out between the men, as a result of which the 46-year-old stabbed his 45-year-old acquaintance in the arm.
The attacked man was taken to hospital. The attacker admitted guilt; he will also face charges for supplying his acquaintances with drugs.
The 46-year-old could now face up to five years in prison.
