The incident occurred on Wednesday, 14 November, after 2:00 p.m., on Zgorzelecka Street in Bolesławiec. Near the special-needs school, two vehicles collided: a moped and a passenger car.
As it turned out, the completely drunk moped rider (a test showed 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his system) crashed into the rear of a Renault passenger car driven by a 34-year-old woman from Bolesławiec.
The 59-year-old from the City of Ceramics, who suffered only general bruising, could now face up to two years behind bars.
