The incident occurred on Tuesday, October 30, after 2:00 p.m., in Gościszów (Nowogrodziec municipality). A Reader wrote to us via MMS:
There was probably some kind of accident at the timber yard in Gościszów; an ambulance, the fire brigade and police are at the scene.
According to another Reader, the car driver was traveling from the direction of Lwówek Śląski. He lost control of the vehicle, damaged a fence, drove onto the company premises and damaged two cars, a motorcycle, a gazebo and an office building there. The man was given assistance at the scene.
We managed to establish that the driver was completely drunk; he had nearly 3 per mille of alcohol in his system.
