Preschool groups visited the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters to see what a police officer’s work involves. The children from Municipal Public Preschools No. 2, No. 5 and No. 7, as well as from the Non-Public Integrative Preschool “Mali Odkrywcy,” took an interest in learning about the workplace of the uniformed officers.

The children visited the duty officers at the Bolesławiec unit and asked why such a large number of telephones and monitors were needed in one place. The officers:

A policewoman reminded our guests of the emergency telephone numbers and explained the situations in which they should be used.

During the tour of the headquarters, various safety-related topics were discussed, including how to behave when encountering a stranger and how to take care of one’s safety in road traffic.

The police car attracted exceptional interest; most of the children decided to get inside and take a close look at the equipment in the police vehicle.

More preschool groups have already announced their visits to the Bolesławiec police headquarters.
