Two neighborhood police officers from District I of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica were alerted by residents of a building on Lotnicza Street that their neighbor was constantly disturbing their peace by playing music very loudly.

The neighbors repeatedly asked the troublesome tenant to stop this kind of behavior. However, he paid no attention to their requests.

At the scene, the officers noticed a meter board without a meter, but with wires connected directly. The connection belonged to the difficult-to-tolerate resident of Lotnicza Street.

It turned out that the 39-year-old was stealing electricity. The man was detained and then taken to the Municipal Police Headquarters.

The case is now being handled by the Department for Combating Property Crime of the Municipal Police Headquarters. The 39-year-old resident of Legnica could face up to five years in prison.
