The incident occurred on Monday, October 8, on the A4 motorway, between the Jadwisin and Chojnów interchanges. As reported by onet.pl, eight vehicles collided: seven trucks and one passenger car.
One person was killed and three were injured.
The road toward Zgorzelec may remain blocked for several more hours.
The police and prosecutor’s office are determining the causes of the tragedy.
