A swift and thorough operational investigation by officers from the Department for Combating Crimes Against Life and Health of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica led to the arrest of a 30-year-old resident of the city, suspected of possessing and dealing in large quantities of narcotic substances.
The officers discovered nearly 4,000 saleable doses of various drugs (amphetamine, methamphetamine and marijuana), as well as more than 300 ecstasy tablets. Electronic scales, gold jewellery and cash were also seized.
The 30-year-old was arrested. He is a repeat offender. At the prosecutor’s request, the court remanded him in custody for three months.
The suspect now faces up to 15 years in prison.
