Police officers from the Bolesławiec police headquarters arrested the 22-year-old man on August 28—once again within the past three months. The reason? This time, he robbed a workshop of power tools.
The man was well known to the officers because he committed a total of 17 crimes between May and August. The officers proved that the 22-year-old had committed, among other things, a series of break-ins at garages and newspaper boxes, stolen fuel from tanks, possessed narcotics and violated a court ban on driving. (All the crimes took place in the City of Ceramics).
The serial burglar stole anything he considered to have any value: power tools, rims, cables, a vacuum cleaner, newspapers and fuel. (The police recovered some of the stolen items).
Moreover, in June the 22-year-old was caught by the officers after getting behind the wheel despite a court-imposed driving ban. In August, he was arrested for possessing amphetamine.
The court remanded the thief in temporary custody for three months. The suspect could now face up to 10 years in prison.
