The incident took place at the Wizowska reservoir (near Graniczna Street in Bolesławiec). A man recorded a poacher who used a crossbow to hunt two large carp in the reservoir mentioned above, then took the fish to his car and drove away.
As we have managed to establish, the matter has already been reported to the police. The suspect could face up to three years in prison.
As istotne.pl was told by Janusz Latoch, the district commander of the Social Fisheries Guard in Bolesławiec, acts of poaching have been occurring very frequently recently. Lately, the Fisheries Guard has been issuing fines constantly—and they have been hefty.
