On August 3, investigators were notified of a break-in at a garage on private property in Bolesławiec. Construction materials and power tools were stolen from the premises; everything was worth more than PLN 7,000.

Operational police officers took up the case and quickly established the perpetrator’s identity. He turned out to be a 22-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. He was detained, and the stolen property was found where he was staying. What is more, the suspect had methamphetamine on him.

The recovered items were returned to their owner. The detained 22-year-old, who had already been convicted of similar offenses, could now face up to 10 years in prison.
