Police officers from Police Station II in Jelenia Góra, together with community police officers, a dog handler and Border Guard officers, detained a 35-year-old man suspected of possessing narcotic substances, supplying them and committing the offense of handling stolen goods.
In the detainee’s apartment, the officers secured marijuana from which approximately 140 saleable doses could have been produced. They also secured power tools, bicycles and other items most likely originating from criminal activity.
The officers established that the man dealt in drugs and also supplied narcotic substances in exchange for various favors. The police are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case, including the source of the seized drugs, their recipients and any further victims.
The 35-year-old was initially taken into police custody. Subsequently, the District Court in Jelenia Góra, at the prosecutor’s request, remanded him in custody for three months. The suspect faces up to 10 years in prison.
