Police officers from the Bolesławiec police headquarters detained a 25-year-old man in the Nowogrodziec municipality who was wanted under an arrest warrant and 10 other orders. The suspect repeatedly got behind the wheel despite not having a driving licence. He was even issued a court ban on driving, but continued to breach it. What is more, on one occasion, in an attempt to avoid responsibility, he failed to stop for a roadside check.
When police officers arrived to apprehend the 25-year-old, the man hid and did not open the door. However, this ploy did not help him. He was detained. What is more, he was caught with methamphetamine.
For numerous traffic offences and breaching the court ban, the detained man was sent to prison for two years. He now additionally faces up to three years behind bars.
